Children Told they are Dogs during Mosque Visit

THE HAGUE, 09/04/08 - A primary school in Amsterdam wished to provide its pupils with an understanding for other cultures. But during a visit to a mosque, the children were told they were dogs.

With a view to developing understanding and respect for other cultures among children, primary school De Horizon regularly organises outings to various religious organisations. The chairman of the El Mouchidine mosque told the children from group 7 (aged 10) and their chaperones however that non-Muslims are dogs.

In a letter to the children’s parents, the school expresses its regret at the incident: “We are shocked that during the guided tour, the mosque’s chairman told the children and chaperoning parents that non believers were dogs. We consider this statement as unacceptable since we allow our children to partake in this project to develop respect for freedom of religious choice”.

And this was more of an insult than we know. The poster “Incredible Shrinking White Man” posted this yesterday at the Forums at American Renaissance:

To understand the full significance of this story, you need to know that the Muslim opinion of dogs is EXTREMELY LOW. If you, as a Western white, would not appreciate being compared to a dog, remember that in the Islamic world the insult is just that much WORSE.

In their countries, a canine is NOT your beloved pet Poochie. In the land of sand, Fido is NOT “man’s best friend.” Arabs/Muslims HATE dogs, and do not keep them as pets. Over there, dogs are a despised “pest” animal, about on par with a skunk or rat. No “walkies” for Abdul, insh’allah. Abdul doesn’t DO “walkies.”

(I recall a case in So. Calif. a few years back, in which a Muslim immigrant had been instructed by his imam not to feed the dog his children had adopted. The advice of the “spiritual advisor” was that dogs were religiously incorrect. The family need not actually KILL the dog, quoth the imam, but they should simply “stop feeding the animal. If you stop feeding the animal, it will eventually run away and not bother you anymore.”)

Although dog-hatred seems not to derive from the mouth of Mohammed himself — rather, it’s just a long-standing local custom that has subsequently become entwined with Koranic teachings — anti-dog attitudes nevertheless remain deeply entrenched in everyday Islam.

Knowing this makes the remarks from the Dutch mosque all the more belligerent and inflammatory!

White working-class boys are being consigned to the educational scrapheap because politically-correct ministers and officials are ignoring their poor performance, members of the ATL claimed yesterday.

They said boys from low-income homes do significantly worse in exams than any other group of pupils but their plight is being “overlooked” by Labour and the liberal establishment.

Initiatives to tackle under-achievement often centre on improving the performance of ethnic minorities, said London-based member John Puckrin.

Fears of playing into the hands of the National Front and BNP are fuelling a widespread reluctance to speak up for the plight of the white working-classes, he claimed.

“Liberal-minded people and the media ceased to highlight the particular problems of this group for fear of lending weight to the arguments of the National Front and BNP. This is a self-defeating position to my mind.”

So, they would rather have the children of the white working class fail in school than see Nick Griffin win an election.  Actually, I doubt that the children of the white working class are at the bottom of the scholastic heap, and that the British educational system is Enroning around with statistics in order to boost the apparent achievement of non-white pupils.

About his “Lazy Missourians” rant.

As it turns out, his “only three people applied” rant was false.  The employer, Fine Labs, did build and open a facility in Piedmont, in Wayne County, and did put out the Help Wanted sign.  Three hundred people applied.  The article does not say how many of those were hired.

And predictably, your CofCC gets part of a paragraph:

And some even see hints that Obama may be leading a national black uprising. “Are blacks becoming more hostile towards whites?” asked a recent entry at the … Council of Conservative Citizens website.  The author, citing the early February rampage by a black gunman near St. Louis, Missouri, advised that “the success of the Obama campaign might be emboldening blacks to be more aggressive towards white[s] on a national scale.”

Actually, that needs a little clarification.  By himself, Barack Hussein Obama (sorry, John McCain, for using his middle name) is a plastic banana and an empty suit.  I would no sooner expect him to succeed in leading a black uprising than I would for him to hang the moon.  The point made at Dot Org in that blog post is that many black Americans, particularly in the lower classes, might be “feeling their oats” and becoming more arrogant and flippant (”we’z takin’ over, cracker”), simply because a black man is so close to becoming President.  I would expect those sort of people to have that kind of attitude even if the black candidate was the Tommiest of Toms, e.g. Clarence Thomas.

But in this open casting call, non-whites need not apply.  And for once, the civil rights industry won’t be complaining about it.

Film’s casting call wants that ‘inbred’ look

A movie about to be filmed in Pittsburgh is casting Gothic characters — including an albino-like girl and deformed people — to depict West Virginia mountain people.

“‘Regular-looking” children need not apply.

That’s the gist of an open casting call for paid extras for “Shelter,” a horror film starring Julianne Moore that will begin shooting in Pittsburgh in March.

The casting call scheduled for Sunday invites “men and women of all races, 18 or older,” to try out as extras, according to the announcement from Downtown-based Donna Belajac Casting. But the extras wanted for the West Virginia scenes evoke images of “Deliverance” and “The Hills Have Eyes.”

If the movie was going to be about Pittsburgh’s black neighborhoods, and the gang/thug/hip-hop look was encouraged, we would never hear the end of it.  And this newspaper in Pittsburgh wouldn’t encourage people to audition.
