Haven’t you noticed that, while smaller rivers and streams are rising in the St. Louis area and the Midwest, and more and more people are driven out of their homes, that there’s no looting, rioting or violence? There were temporary road signs stolen in Jefferson County, but that’s just about it. What could be the difference between suburban St. Louis and rural southern Missouri, and New Orleans?
While we’re on the subject of New Orleans, have a look at this September 2, 2005 column from the Jamaica Star, which reads like something out of the Citizens Informer.
