AP:
Fla. gunman’s motive remains a mystery
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - The life of the gunman who went on a rampage in a fast-food restaurant may have been as chaotic as his final violent act.
Court records and interviews show that Alburn Edward Blake was once accused of kicking a girlfriend who called him “demented.” He somehow married a woman he had never met without her consent, and sometimes used a Social Security number that had belonged to a dead man.
A surveillance video shows Blake entering the Wendy’s during the lunch rush Monday and going straight to the bathroom, authorities said Tuesday. He emerged minutes later and fatally shot a paramedic who had gone back into the restaurant to exchange a kid’s meal toy his child had received.

They say they are no closer to determining what set off Blake, a 60-year-old handyman from Jamaica who lived in West Palm Beach.

Blake married his wife, Deborah, in 1989, according to records, but there is no record they divorced. He also married a woman, Tangela Kemp, in 1987, and wasn’t officially divorced until 1993, records show.

Records show Blake owned a maintenance and handyman company until 2003, but authorities said he is believed to have been unemployed at the time of the shooting. Authorities can’t explain his use of the Social Security number that belonged to a Wisconsin man who died three decades ago.
My bet? Obama arrogance.

And Barack Obama was really against NAFTA, too.

Kenya police fire teargas to halt gang protest
Kenyan police fired teargas on Wednesday to scatter street protests by hundreds of young men demanding the release of a former leader of the outlawed Mungiki gang from prison.
Police in riot gear chased the protesters through downtown Nairobi, frightening residents still on edge after post-election violence which killed more than 1,000 people and forced 300,000 from their homes.
“We demand the immediate release of Maina Njenga and his cars, which were impounded by the police,” a statement given to Reuters by a rioter said.
John Maina Njenga, a former leader and founder member of the Mungiki criminal gang, is serving a five-year sentence for possession of an illegal firearm.

According to local media, Njenga renounced the gang while in prison, saying he had become a born-again Christian.
Then why are all these young men (presumably fellow gangsters) demanding that they want him sprung? This reminds me of the time leading up to Stanley “Tookie” Williams being dispatched to his just reward more than two years ago. We were supposed to believe that he renounced the Crips gang he founded, yet there were all these threats of violence and retribution from the Crips upon his execution.
