No face-concealing Halloween masks in Cocoa, Florida. Why? Concerns about crime.
Now, do you think the authorities in Cocoa, Florida would want to ban burquas because of the concern about terrorism or suicide bombings? No, can’t offend the CAIR.

The Qual-Calm During the Storm October 24, 2007

Have you noticed something with most MSM treatment of the Southern California fires, especially those near San Diego?
Anchors, commentators and pundits are all going on and on about how calm and serene everything is in spite of the disaster, how orderly things are in San Diego’s Qualcomm Stadium (home of the NFL’s Chargers), and how peaceful everyone and everything is.
Then they contrast this to all the “chaos, crime and anarchy” in New Orleans and its NFL stadium in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina more than two years ago.
First off, I thought there was no “chaos, crime and anarchy” in New Orleans post-Katrina. I thought all that was only the product of a sensationalist gossip-mongering and racist conspiracy theories.
Second, what would make the people of San Diego behave so much better than the people of New Orleans? Since you’re reading this blog, you already know the answer, but in San Diego’s case, whites are far more likely to be driven out by these fires, because the hill and inland areas are white flight areas, to escape the Mexicanized valleys.
When San Diego experienced similar fires in 2003, Rep. and Presidential Candidate Duncan Hunter’s Alpine, Calif. home was destroyed. You will notice that Alpine is well inland.
