KTVI-Fox-2 news at 5: A black deputy chief of police in University City was part of the most recent contingent of American law enforcement officers that traveled to southern Africa, namely Botswana, for several weeks to teach African police agencies the ins and outs of law enforcement. Apparently, the FBI sponsors these annual junkets.
That’s because University City is so pristine and crime-free that everyone is chomping at the bit to know their cops’ secrets.
The deputy chief told KTVI reporters that one of the persistent issues facing African cops is corruption, (what a surprise), and the delegation gave the natives advice on how to weed it out. Does anyone see the irony of having a black American cop lecture black African cops about corruption?
