As Nelson Mandela himself was a witness to the statue of himself unveiled and placed near the Houses of Parliament in London, he took the opportunity while in England to state that more successful and high-profile black Britons need to step up and become role models for black youths that are at risk of becoming thugs and gangsters.
I wonder if statues can emit an odor of irony.
