What Happened to “Stop Snitching?” August 18, 2007

A good boy, an honor student, a multi-sport “afawete” who was also an aspiring rapper, who just happened to fall in with the wrong crowd, stands accused today of murdering someone who was a good boy, an honor student, a multi-sport “afawete” who just happened to fall in with the right crowd.
What happened to “Stop Snitching?” Apparently, those Carmelo Anthony DVDs haven’t yet made it to the corner of Semple and MLK in north St. Louis, and for the information that someone snitched, the SLPD was able to net three people, including the aforementioned alleged 15-year old murderer, and 18-year old Xavier McCully (above), who is alleged to have provided the rod for the deed.
As late as yesterday afternoon, I thought that the cops would never catch any suspects, because Officer Norvelle Brown was patrolling alone, and I falsely assumed that the only people who witnessed the act were the perps and the victim. Someone else did see it, and did talk, but I think part of the reason was that Officer Brown was black, and of, from and patrolling his native neighborhood. If he would have been a white cop who lived in St. Louis Hills, they would still be looking for suspects.

OLATHE, Kan. (AP) — Three women indicted in a case involving about $7.7 million in fraudulent mortgages have been accused of using the Social Security numbers of dead people to help illegal immigrants get home loans.
Officials said the case also involves more than $100,000 in illegally obtained real estate fees.
The Johnson County grand jury this week indicted Doris Toledo, 67, and her two daughters, Sonia Toledo, 38, and Sylvia Toledo, 42, all of Leawood. They were charged with 11 counts of computer crimes, 11 counts of making a false writing and one count of theft by deception.
Sonia Toledo was identified as a loan officer at an Olathe mortgage company. The other two women also worked in the real estate industry. All were being held in the Johnson County jail on $100,000 bond each.
The indictments also alleged that the women were involved in a conspiracy of repeatedly telling illegal immigrants they could use false documents to obtain Social Security numbers to obtain mortgage loans to buy homes.

A more succinct letter would have read:
Dear Son,
Enoch Powell was right. The Thames is now a River of Blood. You were right to get out of England before yours became part of it.
Sincerely,
Your Father.
Notice the propagandic photo used in this otherwise good article. It’s the same thing that our media here do when they show streets full of protesting Mexicans waving American flags. This kind of photo would have been more appropriate:
