Would that be a Governor, Senator, Congressman or other politician from a border state?

No, it’s Missouri State Rep. Talibdin “Reparations” El-Amin (D-St. Louis City) stating that the state should send in the National Guard to crime-prone areas of north St. Louis City. Antonio French has text and video.

Commentary:

(1) If the SLPD can’t control north St. Louis such that men and women wearing camouflage have to be called in, I wonder why the SLPD can’t control north St. Louis. It’s because of a generation or more of people like Mr. El-Amin voting for civil rights laws that have turned, and will continue to turn, the law enforcement and criminal justice system into a straw dog.

(2) In this same clip, El-Amin states that he wants “local control” of the SLPD. If he gets his wish, this would mean that the SLPD would be run by the same milieu of white-hating and police-hating black preachers, civil rights activists and welfare-dependent “community activists” that runs City Hall already. The first thing they would do is to implement a crippling civilian review board. However unable the SLPD are to control north St. Louis now, it’ll be far worse under city control.

(3) What about Mayor Slay’s caterwauling that crime is down? You don’t call in the National Guard for “crime is down.”
